13. Cooking with Greens

 

Asur’Ana has continued to experiment with vegetarian and vegan recipes with Mother Earth consciousness that better supports ascending biology. Special healing planes are created with the use of all recipes in this section that assist those using the cookbook to receive blessings from Earth and nature. The blessings can create a most magical meal for oneself or others as well as allow for healing between oneself and the plant kingdoms. We hope that many avail themselves to our cookbook and receive the blessings from Earth that are associated to better support your continued ascent ahead.

 

As of late, Asur’Ana has discovered the joy of including more “greens” in her diet. Greens include kale, mustard greens, swiss chard, the tops of beets or carrots, or collard greens. For some reason, spinach has been considered the better green of choice in most vegetarian or non-vegetarian recipes. Although spinach is not bad, it does not contain all of the minerals and other micronutrients of varied greens in the diet, and therefore is less useful in sustaining one’s health in or ascending out of disease in ascension.

 

There is also something nice in including both the tops of the plants and their roots in one’s diet, such as beet tops and the beets, or carrot tops and the carrots. Most often humans throw away these greens instead of cooking them, and as such create a less nutritious meal than otherwise possible. The reason for this is that in including both the tops and the roots, one receives nutrients that work synergistically with one another to aid the body in regenerating, as well as provide a dream for wholeness. (Please refer to Dancing with Trees and Plants Chapter 26 “Blessings for a Diet of Regeneration and Ascension Home” for a lovely exploration of the problems with modern food science, and why momentum towards a whole food vegetarian diet is necessary to foster the evolution of oneself as well as humankind.)

 

Greens can also be eaten raw in salad in lieu of only lettuce. Asur’Ana has become fond of including arugula in her salads along with fresh basil; and the farmers market also sells bags of baby greens and bitters that are lovely to graze upon. Bitters are good blood cleansers and also provide many micronutrients necessary to sustaining one’s health, recovering one’s health, and making sure one does not ascend into disease ahead. So, these recipes are offered up so that ascending humans will include more greens in their diet.

 

Food Allergies and Karma

 

Although it is true that wheat gluten is a protein that is only a part of the whole, it is easily digested, and therefore supportive of receiving enough protein as a vegetarian at this time. Some may have been allergic to wheat or gluten in times past. The allergies to certain foods are karmic in nature, and may involve how the inheritance is responsible for how farmed foods lost its nutrients over time or became imprisoned in human farming practices. As the karma is released, the body will learn to adjust to all foods necessary to consume to create a complete and whole food diet rich in nutrients enough to ascend. Much of the karma for manipulation of food sources that humanity relies upon occurred in Atlantis, and as the karma is released, a new day ahead can be born for ascending initiates in terms of what they can digest in ease. Asur’Ana has experimented with many lovely feasts again this year in collaboration with Mother Earth Consciousness to provide loving entrees to be served at special occasions such as the Holiday Season.

 

The below entrees make a lovely addition to any holiday meal and will create a feeling of caring and sharing amongst all gathered. 11. Vegetarian Holiday Feasts

 

Asur’Ana has experimented with many lovely feasts last year. Each of these feasts was a part of a menu Earth had in mind for the holidays when special attention to cooking is a part of the human dream. Below we offer up three holiday menus, one that is Greek, one that is Italian, and one that is of Continental cuisine. The goal is to create a wonderful vegetarian meal for oneself and one’s guests that is fun to prepare and fulfilling to experience.

 

Cooking need not be a chore; it can be a work of art. As one intends to allow the cooking to express one’s heart in collaboration with Earth and the vegetable and fruit kingdoms, so it will be. Those enjoying the food prepared in such a kitchen can only be amazed.

 

For the holiday feast, food would taste extra delicious and the gathering magical, if the entire family or group takes a moment to bless the cook or chef, kitchen, vegetable and fruit kingdoms, and the farmlands. Perhaps this speaks to what occurs as soul returns to the dance of life – all of life becomes magical including the food upon one’s plate.

 

Therefore, intend that this be so at your holiday meals this year beloved. Then extend this magic to all meals in the year ahead. Take the time to bless what you eat and bless the food you are preparing in the kitchen, and mealtime can become a magical and blessed experience.

10. Complete Meals

 

Complete meals provide all the nutrition required by an ascending human form in a single meal. Complete meals were spoken to in a recent article from The Fruit, Nut and Vegetable Bearing Plants Kingdom. (Please see Dancing with Trees and Plants Chapter 6 “Blessings for a Healthy Body that Can Ascend” for more information.)

 

For vegetarians, complete meals include protein (legumes, tofu, milk, milk products and eggs), carbohydrates (rice, grains and potatoes), enzymes to digest the food (fresh fruits and vegetables), fermented foods (pickles, yogurt and cider) and fats suited to the ascending biology (nut oils for the nervous system and milk and egg fats suited to the crystalline cells). For vegans, all of the above foods apply with the exceptions of milk, milk products and eggs.

 

Only vegetarian and vegan recipes are explored in this series to retain a state of harmlessness and non-violence. Earth invites initiates to adopt a vegetarian or vegan diet in ascension in support of sustaining a harmless state of being. (Please refer to Chapter 1 “Diet for Ascension” for more information.)

 

The digestive tract in those who are ascending to 3,000 DNA segments goes through modifications in which there are stronger digestive enzymes produced in one’s own digestive system that are designed to break down complete meals. The stomach and intestines also form a thicker mucous to protect one’s own biology from the strength of the enzymes. (Please see Ascension Insights, Volume 4 Chapter 4 “Ascending into A Regenerative Biological System” for more information.) One will therefore feel more satisfied at mealtime in combining foods in the complete meal format as an ascending human.

9. Desserts

 

Humans are in need of the sweetness of life, for so often upon the physical plane life is boring, melancholy or lacking in joy. The desire for sweets is really the desire for the return of the sweetness of life. Denying oneself sweets is like sending a message to the universe to send one boredom and joylessness. So, Earth suggests that ascending initiates treat oneself to sweets regularly; and this shall send the opposing message to the universe of the desire for joy and fulfillment.

 

Chocolate is also an ascension food. Chocolate contains biochemistry that has substances necessary to the ascending nervous system. Therefore, craving chocolate is not unusual amongst ascending humans. You will find Asur’Ana savoring organic vegan chocolate from the health food store once in a while.

 

Mostly what Asur’Ana has craved as sweets is fruit. She finds most other desserts lifeless and without chi; although from time to time, she might indulge in a piece of vegan cheese cake, vegan sweet potato pie, vegan chocolate decadence, or any number of other delicacies that restaurants serve these days. At home, she has found that she prefers fruit or cobblers. To the sweetness of life! Bon appetite!

8. Main Courses

 

One can get lost in the kitchen cooking the day away. There is a rhythm to cooking that can be quite beautiful and creative to experience. Much as an artist, one is combining food to create something beautiful as well as delicious to eat. If one communes with the nature kingdoms, they will tell you how the food desires to be cooked, and what herbs and spices are needed. This is how many of these recipes came forth; through listening to the kingdoms as to how the food wished to be prepared.

 

Earth invites each to take the time to cook for oneself, or for a special occasion with guests. Just as one would give unto oneself to walk, swim, have a mud bath to detoxify or any other activity that supports ascension, cooking also can support ascension. For in the act of cooking, one is gathering up the food source that one requires to supply the body with the necessary nutrition to ascend.

 

In the blessing of the food that one is preparing, there can be an even greater gift, and this is the blessings from Earth and nature for your continued life dance and ascent. We hope that each experiences these blessings through these recipes.

7. Quick Meals

 

Some initiates do not like to cook and are confused as to what to prepare for a mostly vegetarian diet, as most of their prior meals surrounded meat or flesh of one sort or another. Earth hopes to provide for each an understanding that one can have healthy and tasty quick vegetarian meals without spending a load of time in the kitchen.

 

The problem with canning vs. drying in Earth’s estimation is that dried foods cease to age; canned foods continue to break down on the shelf leading to decayed food that one is consuming. Ascension is about transcending decay and emerging into a regenerative cellular structure. Decay can be equated with losing molecules; how much nutrition can the food you eat have if half or more of the molecules are missing due to the process of canning? It is for this reason that we recommend cooking from scratch whenever possible. We hope that this information is of use.

6. Soups, Salads And Starters

 

Soups warm the spirit upon a cold winter’s night. Even in Hawaii, there are those stormy days that a good soup tastes so nice. Salads and raw foods are also important to ascension as they provide the necessary enzymes to transmute to the crystalline form as well as digest one’s food; and provide bulk to cleanse the intestine. A salad a day will make ascension easier in Earth’s opinion. Roasted or cooked vegetables are a good source of vitamins that only emerge as the food is heated.

 

We do not advise a “raw food” only diet for ascension. Raw foods are often hard to digest if it is the only food source offered to the body, and then one does not receive enough of the needed nutrients to foster ascension. Cooked foods are gentler upon the digestive system. Many uncooked vegetables are difficult to break down, even with ascending digestive enzymes. Therefore, eating a well-balanced diet of about 1/3 to 1/2 raw and 1/2 to 2/3 cooked foods is what Earth recommends for ascending initiates.

 

The body will also tell you when it is unhappy with what you are eating. Too much flatulence may be a sign of too much raw food; or the result of too many beans or tofu. As you eat quinoa, polenta, rice, potato or pasta with such symptoms, it will soothe the digestive tract enough to recover. Too many enzymes from raw food may begin to digest the stomach or small intestines; this is why one may suffer from distress following a meal or many meals of raw foods. The quinoa, polenta, rice, potato or pasta in turn will sweep through absorbing the excessive enzymes, allowing one to come to balance and recover. We hope that this information is of use unto each reading of our materials.

5. Breads And Pastas

 

One initiate whom we shall call Jeremy was a baker for many years in his twenties. Jeremy loved working with the dough. Last year, now in his early fifties, he purchased a bread machine. Jeremy rapidly discovered how nice it was to have a device that could mix small batches of dough for bread or pasta. This took away the labor-intensive process of making fresh bread or pasta by hand, which has allowed his family to enjoy homemade bread and pasta several times per week.

 

Jeremy only uses the bread machine to mix and allow the dough to rise. After it has risen adequately enough, he kneads the dough one last time by hand and then shapes it into a loaf and several buns, and then bakes it off in a traditional oven. Pasta is kneaded in the machine and then rolled out and cut into strips to be cooked in boiling water for a few minutes before serving.

 

Homemade bread and pasta are so delicious in taste that there is nothing store bought that can compare. Perhaps this is why bread machines have become so popular. We hope that each reading these materials will treat oneself such a device and enjoy making bread and pasta from scratch. There are many other recipes that come with the bread machines that can also be experimented with.

 

Breads

 

Breads are a good source of carbohydrates and create a complete protein for vegetarians when combined with cheese, cream cheese, or peanut and other nut butters. Butter is an excellent source of fat for the crystalline nervous system; therefore, many vegetarian initiates enjoy their bread warm from the oven with butter.

(Makes 1.5 Pound Loaf or 12 Dinner Rolls)

Pinch of Sugar

1 Tablespoon Active Dry or Instant Yeast

¼ Cup Sugar

¼ Cup Avocado Oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil

4. Appetizers

 

Appetizers are usually reserved for formal meals and when guests come over. They are usually served in small portions at the beginning of a meal to stimulate the appetite. Occasionally, some initiates would gather together with their friends for a home cooked feast. This is a nice way to take the time to celebrate their own ascension at the end of any given busy year. Appetizers are lovely to serve to visit over before dinner is served.

 

Eggs

 

Eggs are a good source of cholesterol and protein for an ascending diet. However, if one is a vegan, coconut milk and coconut and palm oils can also provide good cholesterol sources.

12 Hard Boiled Eggs

1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard

1 cup Homemade (Vegan) Mayonnaise (or organic Mayonnaise)

1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice

Salt to taste

Paprika, for garnish

 

Peel and slice each egg lengthwise in half. Scoop out the yolks. Place the yolks along with all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until a nice paste is created. Gently refill each egg white half with the yolk mixture. If one is adventurous, one may use a frosting bag and tip to allow the filling to hold a beautiful shape. Sprinkle with paprika and serve.
